What To Bring

Belize is a tropical country where the average temperature is 84 F. Dress is informal, so bring light comfortable clothing. You may wish to pack the following:

• Face mask.

• Hand sanitizer.

• Lightweight rain gear for tropical showers.

• Light jacket or sweater for cool mornings or evenings.

• Light quick-dry shirts, shorts, and pants for protection from the sun or mosquitoes.

• Wide-brimmed hat for protection from the sun.

• Walking/hiking shoes or boots, water shoes, sandals/flip-flops.

• Sunscreen and lip balm (SPF 15 or higher).

• Insect repellent.

• Camera.

• Small waterproof bag for carrying extra gear.

• Sunglasses (polarized if possible).

• Snorkel/diving mask.

• Personal medications.

• Binoculars for bird watching.
